Product Features
Ammonium carboxymethylcellulose (CMC-NH₄), a nonionic cellulose product synthesized from natural cellulose by successive chemical treatments, appears as an odorless, tasteless and nontoxic white powder and can dissolve in cold water into transparent viscous liquids.
It features thickening, adhesion, dispersion, emulsification, film formation, suspension, adsorption, gelation and surface activity. Widely applied in the manufacturing of honeycomb ceramics, lithium-ion batteries, supercapacitors and electronic packaging, it helps raise product yield. Product Applications
Ammonium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC-NH4) is a specialty adhesive primarily used in high-quality SCR denitration catalysts. It addresses the issue of alkali metal-induced deactivation in conventional CMC, which can damage the structure and active sites of SCR catalysts. By using CMC-NH4, the performance and service life of SCR catalysts are significantly improved, thereby enhancing their market competitiveness.
Compared to traditional CMC, CMC-NH4 offers stronger cohesion and less residual ash after roasting.
