Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) for ceramic glazes is low in ash, easily decomposes, and leaves no residue. It is suitable for all types of glaze systems, including top glazes, base glazes, colored glazes, drip glazes, spray glazes, and printed glazes. Its excellent suspension stability firmly supports zirconium white, pigments, and lean powders, preventing stratification and sedimentation during long-term storage. The glaze slurry maintains uniform concentration throughout, eliminating variations in glaze thickness and firing color. It possesses excellent thixotropic properties, ensuring smooth flow during dripping and spraying, preventing glaze runs and streaks on the body surface. During the drying stage, it slowly loses water, reducing glaze cracking, shrinkage, and pinhole defects. High-temperature firing results in complete combustion without residual carbon, preventing black spots and pitting, ensuring the glaze's gloss, whiteness, and color purity. The acid and alkali resistant glaze system is compatible with various ceramic additives, dissolves rapidly in cold water without clumping or fish-eye defects, and is suitable for large-scale production lines of ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, daily-use ceramics, and art ceramics, ensuring a stable glaze yield.
