Pharmaceutical-grade HPMC is the core film-forming material for plant-based empty capsules. It strictly complies with pharmacopoeia standards, boasting high purity and low impurities. Capsule shells made from it contain no animal-derived ingredients, meeting the special needs of vegetarian and halal consumers. With low water content and resistance to temperature and humidity, it effectively protects drugs sensitive to moisture and heat. It does not undergo cross-linking reactions with aldehyde drugs or traditional Chinese medicine extracts, exhibits stable disintegration and dissolution, and is tough and not easily brittle, making it an ideal choice for high-end capsule formulations.
