Hydroxyethyl Cellulose Introduction
Hydroxyethyl cellulose is a white or pale yellow, odorless, non-toxic, fibrous or powdered solid. It is prepared by the etherification reaction of alkaline cellulose and ethylene oxide (or chloroethanol). It belongs to the class of nonionic soluble cellulose ethers.
