CMC-NH₄, ammonium carboxymethylcellulose, is a cellulose-based nonionic extract refined from natural cellulose through a series of chemical conversion procedures. Visually, it is a fine white powder with no peculiar odor or taste and poses no toxic risks to users. When mixed with cold water, it can fully dissolve and create transparent solutions with good viscosity. The material comes with diverse functional traits: thickening capacity, cohesive strength, dispersion assistance, emulsifying performance, film-forming ability, suspension stability, adsorption capacity, gel formation and surface activity. Manufacturers in honeycomb ceramic production, lithium cell manufacturing, supercapacitor processing and electronic component packaging widely utilize this raw material to raise the rate of qualified finished goods.
