High substituted Hydroxypropyl Cellulose (HPC) is multi-functional thickener stabilizer for hair & body care. It dissolves fast in cold/hot water and alcohol mixtures, ideal for water-based and alcohol-containing cleansing formulas. It delivers smooth spreadable texture and dense persistent foam, suspending pearlescent pigments and exfoliating beads evenly without sedimentation. A thin moisturizing film forms on hair and skin after washing to reduce static and dryness, leaving fresh non-greasy after-feel. Fully compatible with anionic & amphoteric surfactants, stable through temperature cycling. Widely applied in shampoo, conditioner, body wash, scrub and alcohol sanitizer, safe for sensitive and infant care products.

HPC (Hydroxypropyl Cellulose) is a nonionic water-soluble cellulose. It dissolves in cold water and organic solvents, features thermogelation property, good film-forming ability, thickening and binding performance. Widely applied in pharmaceutical, personal care, ceramics and coatings industry.
