HEC is a premium, multi-functional rheology modifier for shampoos, derived from natural cellulose, that thickens quickly without neutralization. It creates a luxuriously silky cream texture, improves pump dispensing experience, locks in pearlescent and active ingredient particles with excellent suspending ability, and prevents stratification and separation during long-term storage, optimizes foam texture for rich and delicate lather, is compatible with various surfactants without compromising cleansing power, and forms a thin protective film on the hair surface for smooth rinsing, reducing frizz and tangles. It is suitable for transparent shampoos, anti-dandruff shampoos, and amino acid 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner products.
