CMC-NH4 (Ammonium Carboxymethyl Cellulose) is a water-soluble cellulose derivative in which the hydrogen ions of the carboxymethyl groups are neutralized by ammonium ions. Unlike conventional Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC-Na), CMC-NH4 is specially designed for high-performance and high-purity applications where alkali metal ions must be avoided.
