CMC-NH₄ (carboxymethyl cellulose ammonium) is a special molding and binding aid for SCR honeycomb ceramic catalysts. This product is free of alkali metal ions, effectively avoiding catalyst alkali poisoning; it also possesses excellent bonding, water retention, and plasticizing properties, improving the rheological properties of ceramic clay, increasing the strength of the green body, and reducing cracking and deformation defects during drying and firing. High-temperature calcination results in complete decomposition with extremely low residual ash, preventing clogging of the carrier micropores and ensuring the integrity of the catalyst's pore structure and stable denitrification activity. It is suitable for the industrial production of honeycomb ceramic carriers.
