Specially Formulated With CMC For Washing Effectively Prevents Dirt Redeposition
Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) is a key additive in laundry detergents and liquids. Its main function is to prevent redeposition of dirt, suspending washed-off dust and oil in water to prevent re-absorption onto clothes, thus preventing yellowing of white clothes and graying or aging of garments. It also disperses and removes dirt, stabilizes and thickens foam, and protects fabric fibers. It is easily soluble, acid and alkali resistant, has good compatibility, requires only a small dosage, and is cost-effective, making it an essential ingredient in laundry formulations.
Key Functions:
- Anti-Redeposition: Suspends washed-off oil and dust in the water, preventing them from re-adhering to clothes and preventing them from turning gray, yellowing, or appearing older with repeated washes.
- Disperses and Emulsifies: Helps break down stains and emulsify oil, enhancing cleaning power.
- Stabilizes and Thickens Foam: Stabilizes foam and adjusts the consistency of the laundry detergent, preventing the formula from separating or settling.
- Protects Fibers and Colors: Protects fabric fibers, reducing fading and pilling, leaving clothes softer and more durable.
