Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC), a water-soluble non-ionic cellulose, offers thickening, water retention, adhesion, and film-forming properties. This product is specifically designed for use as a binder for honeycomb ceramic carriers in automotive exhaust purification systems. It dissolves in water and is suitable for extrusion molding binders. After high-temperature sintering, it decomposes into carbon dioxide and water, leaving no residues.
