Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic cellulose produced from refined cotton through a series of the processes. It is widely used in self-leveling compounds, tile adhesives, cement mortars, gypsum-based materials, and wall putties due to its excellent water retention, thickening performance, workability enhancement, and anti-segregation properties.
For self-leveling applications, specially selected low-viscosity grades provide outstanding flowability while maintaining sufficient water retention, effectively reducing bleeding, segregation, and shrinkage cracking.

HPMC effectively reduces rapid water loss during hydration, ensuring complete cement hydration and improving final mechanical strength.
Low-viscosity grades help maintain high fluidity without significantly increasing slurry viscosity.
The cellulose network structure minimizes particle settlement and bleeding, producing a smooth and uniform finished surface.
Controlled water evaporation reduces plastic shrinkage and minimizes crack formation.
