HPMC Is Used In Hair Care Products To Prevent System Delamination And Optimize Skin Feel

Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) of daily chemical grade is a multifunctional rheology stabilizer suitable for water-based hair care formulas such as shampoos, body washes, skin gels, and hair conditioners.

It possesses excellent thickening and suspending abilities, stabilizing pearlescent and functional particles and preventing product stratification and sedimentation; it creates a silky, easily spreadable paste texture with delicate and moisturizing foam; it also has a self-moisturizing film-forming effect, relieving dryness and tightness after washing. It is highly compatible with various surfactants, has high system transparency, and uses mild, low-irritant raw materials. The modified, fast-dissolving version produces no fish-eye defects during addition, making it suitable for large-scale daily chemical production lines, resulting in stable, high-quality hair care products.
