Product Description

Ammonium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC-NH4, also known as Ammonium Cellulose, ACMC, CAS: 9086-60-6) is an ammonium salt derivative of carboxymethyl cellulose, appearing as white or pale yellow fibrous powder/particles. It is a high-performance industrial-grade functional adhesive, mainly adapted for the preparation of SCR denitration catalysts, and can also be extended to building materials, papermaking, oil drilling and other fields. With the characteristics of no alkali metal residue, high bonding and dispersibility, and high-temperature thermal stability, it has become a high-quality upgraded version of traditional cellulose products, perfectly solving the toxic side effects of conventional CMC on catalysts.

Core Physicochemical Properties

1. Excellent water solubility, easily dissolves into a homogeneous and transparent glue solution in aqueous systems with no obvious insoluble substances.

2. Moderate adhesion and good film-forming property; the film layer is flexible after drying, not prone to pulverization and peeling.

Product Applications
1.Preparation of SCR Denitration Catalysts
As a special functional bonding and dispersing agent for SCR denitration catalysts, it is suitable for all types of SCR catalysts such as vanadium-tungsten-titanium based and molecular sieve based catalysts. It is applied in the production of catalysts for flue gas denitration systems in power plants, steel mills, glass factories, waste incineration plants, etc., covering mainstream preparation processes such as extrusion molding, spray granulation, and pelletizing molding. It can improve the forming strength of catalysts, optimize pore structure, enhance their erosion and thermal shock resistance, extend the service life of denitration catalysts, and ensure the high efficiency and stability of denitration reactions.
2.Extended Application Fields

Building Materials Industry

Used as a binder and thickener for construction mortar, tile adhesive and thermal insulation materials to improve the workability, water retention and bonding strength of slurry, enhance construction performance, and reduce cracking and peeling. Papermaking Industry
