Product Features
Ammonium Carboxymethyl Cellulose (CMC-NH4/ACMC) is an alkali-metal-free water-soluble cellulose, appearing as white or off-white odorless and tasteless fibrous powder. It dissolves easily in water to form a transparent viscous solution and is insoluble in organic solvents, with extremely low ash content and no metal residue after calcination to avoid catalyst poisoning. It features strong adhesion, film-forming, dispersion and system stability properties, with good compatibility, and is biodegradable and eco-friendly.
It is mainly used as a special binder for SCR denitration catalysts, electrode forming of lithium batteries/supercapacitors and green body reinforcement of honeycomb ceramics. It is also applicable to water retention and thickening of building materials, soil improvement, paper reinforcement and other fields, serving as a high-performance functional additive in chemical, new energy, environmental protection and other industries.
Product Applications
CMC-NH4 (Ammonium Carboxymethyl Cellulose) is an alkali-metal-free functional cellulose with low ash content and strong adhesion & film-forming properties, mainly applied in high-end industrial fields:
1. Special binder for SCR denitration catalysts, preventing catalyst poisoning and improving denitration efficiency and service life
2. Electrode forming for lithium batteries/supercapacitors, enhancing electrode mechanical strength and optimizing ionic conductivity & cycling stability
3. Honeycomb ceramic green body reinforcement, improving formability and sintering performance, and enhancing ceramic structural compactness
4. Precision casting/refractory materials, as a bonding additive to optimize green body strength and demoldability
5. Building materials/papermaking, water retention & thickening for mortar, wet strength enhancement for paper, improving the comprehensive performance of products
6. Soil improvement/agriculture, preparing water-retaining soil films to reduce water evaporation and improve soil fertilizer retention capacity
